2004-2007: Associate with Margulies Perruzzi Architects in Boston, MA (firm ranked #6 in Boston by the Boston Business Journal in 2006)

  • Assigned firm’s “statement” work including hospitality, food service,and unique or critical corporate work.
  • Managed ongoing clients such as Equity Office Properties, the largest landowner in Boston.
  • Designed and managed several projects from start to finish including Carat Fusion, an interactive media company, The State Room, a hospitality suite, and The Coyle Company, an investment company.
  • Worked with larger team on big projects such as Covidien (formerly Tyco Kendall Healthcare), OneBeacon Insurance, and John Hancock/Manulife.

2001-2003: Project Manager with Ankrom Molsan Associated Architects in Portland, OR (firm ranked #41 in the world by Building Design Magazine in 1997)

  • Designed and managed renovation and addition of 150,000sf heavy-timber mixed-use facility including addition of ornamental stair and passenger elevator. Corridors were rearranged for wayfinding in this occupied building. Improvement work for over 50 tenants included during the duration of the project
  • Designed and documented lobby for high-end condominium high rise.
  • Designed and documented common areas for new medical office building.
  • Designed common areas for speculative office building.

1999-2000: Project Manager with Delineation Studios, Raleigh, NC

  • Helped to start this firm's interiors department
  • Significant works accomplished there include: Valley Point mixed use building, Smithfield Barbeque, Jimmy's Restaurant, Wakefield Veterinary Clinic, and mulitple projects for WakeMed
