Cascadia Capital

Austin, TX

Cascadia is one of the largest independent advisory-only investment banks in the country and they have grown beyond their Seattle roots. They moved their Austin office to a unique office space at 811 Barton Springs. The size of the entire floor allowed for their corporate growth and the prime location offers incredible views of the city as well as walkable destinations.  In addition to the location, the fourth floor has a unique feature of a two-story space near the elevator lobby. The height of the space allowed for more opportunity than a traditional office space.

Red Design took a design spin on the Cascadia Mountains with references to peaks, valleys, rain and stars. Entry off the elevator lobby has a backdrop of textured glass, a hint of greenery in the built in reception desk, and contrast with ceiling and lighting colors, heights, and lighting scale. The two-story space behind the reception area is a hub for gathering with undulating pendant lights and acoustic wallcovering. The herringbone floor pattern and the suspended linear acoustic panels contributed to the reference to the mountain range.

Neutrals and wood tones were used for style longevity with pops of the brand blue.
