Deep Eddy Psychotherapy

This 10,000 square foot two-story building was purchased by the therapy and counseling business to house their newest office in a prime location on the bus line in South Austin.  The project was a complete interior remodel including perimeter private offices, a group therapy room, bathrooms, and common areas.  The exterior required some upgrades including the addition of an elevator, modifications to the stairs, upgrades to the site accessibility, and measures to enhance the security and privacy.  Because the building is wood-framed and not sprinklered, additional fire safety requirements were necessary as well.  The Owner desired a residential and warm aesthetic for greeting their patients.  The design team included civil, structural, and MEP engineering.
