Keaton Residence

In 2016, Jennifer renovated her family’s 1978 ranch in Westlake, adding a second floor. Work included enlarging the kitchen and creating a workshop in the garage. The master suite's included an enlarged bathroom and open access to the backyard patio overlooking the pool. The limestone fireplace was clad with a slab for the hearth and glass Ombre tile for the vertical face. All flooring was replaced with natural limestone. All bathrooms were upgraded with new finishes and fixtures, each with their own heated towel rack. A former bedroom was converted to a home office with colorful wallcovering and a custom shelf was created under the new stairs.
Stair risers reflect the neighborhood’s lovely mature live oak trees. Canopies were printed on metal panels with the same technology used for advertising on buses.
The backyard was transformed with a fire pit and many outdoor spaces. The house was a dream for entertaining and between the inside and exterior, the Keatons hosted parties for 100.
